Embroidery

Embroidery machines are similar to large sewing machines except that they have many sewing heads, all sewing the same pattern at the same time.

The first step is for us to 'digitize' the pattern into our computer which will then drive the embroidery machine.

Patterns or designs are unlimited in concept and colour and even in size but normal placements and sizes for these placements are:

• Pocket size placement on say the left hand chest of a polo shirt Is usually 70mm - 90mm. Large embroidery is of course possible but in this placement may not look acceptable.
• The back of a t-shirt can accommodate 300mm by 300mm embroidery and it is quite common for us to do embroidery of this size. Generally 270mm by 270mm is the largest size of embroidery possible on a made up garment purely because of the size of the garment panels. On fabric pieces however it is possible to embroider larger designs if required. E-mail us with any queries.

To be able to produce the highest quality embroidered logo for you we require suitable artwork or images from which to accurately digitize the design. Poor quality or detail of the required Image can result in a program which does not accurately portray the required design.

Pricing is determined by the number of stitches in any design and the number of items to be embroidered with the design.

The Process

Digitizing Your Logo / Artwork

Digitising Your Image is the first step in the process. This is where the colours and shapes that go to make up your Image are converted into stitches and assigned a colour.

Sew Out of Design

Each design produced by Artisan Grafix is sew out prior to production to ensure that the design stitches out as the designer intended and also to ensure quality of finish. This sew out is then attatched to the Job File and Refered to each and every time your job is in our work room to ensure the logo is produced identically each time.

Color Match

As no doubt your aware there are literally milions of different colours and shades available on the market these days, it makes it practically impossible to carry every one we do however stock a huge selection of thread colours and can colour match in most cases from our available pallette. Re-Orders

After the initial setup of your Logo, the only charge to you is the production and garment costs. Unless you require a modification to your logo there are no additional costs and the design is kept on file until the next time you require it. Should you ever require a copy of the design, a copy can be sent to your email address.

Additional Charges

Digitizing $16.00 per 1,000 stitches. Minimum charge $80.00 (G) for a typical logo. Prices vary based on stitch count and complexity.

Tape Edits: $50.00 - when we have to change a current logo.

Personalization: One line $7.70 (A); 2 lines $9.00 (A)

All Dr. Names with specialization: $11.00 (A)

Hat Backs: Minimum charge $3.30 (A) when doing the front (under 4,000 stitches)

Bags: Based on Difficulty. Min. Add. $0.50 (A) each

Metallic Thread: Add $0.50 per piece

3D or Foam: Add $2.00 (A) per piece

If you take advantage of our stock embroidery designs, and order more than 12 pieces, there is no set up charge. We have 20,000 designs ready to go - just add your personal touch! If under 12 pieces there will be a $20.00 set up charge.

When sending in art, please email the highest quality DPI .JPG, .AI, .EPS. If you only have a word document, or .PDF we can try to work with that as well.

All shirts steamed and folded: no additional charge.

No extra charge for Solvy or top quality materials.

You should always expect quality, and we provide it inclusive!

Shipping

Shipping Fees are based on weight and zip code. All packages are shipped via UPS. We can use your ups number if supplied prior to shipping. Please indicate to us if we are shipping to a business or a residence.
